Why is this important?
The water quality not only affects the taste of the coffee, it also
impacts the equipment.
Certain adjustments are required depending on the
water to guarantee optimal taste and longevity of the coffee equipment. First,
they will test the water to determine it´s hardness.
Second, once they
know the mineral content of the water and the operating parameters of the customer
location they will suggest a water filter that fits your needs.
Third,
they will draw up an equipment service routine tailored to the water operating
environment, e.g. how often the filter needs replacing, when the boiler should
be de-scaled, etc.
